The organizers of PhotoArtDoc photo festival announced the end of applications for the mentorship program. This program, designed for authors creating documentary and art-photo projects, aroused great interest among photographers.
"We are surprised and inspired at the same time by the number of applications received. We are particularly pleased to note that more than half of the applications came from participants from Belarus. Belarusians living outside the country - from Georgia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and even New Zealand - also sent applications. In total, more than 90 applications were submitted! Unfortunately, we cannot accept everyone into the program. That is why we decided to hold an additional educational program with lectures, seminars and talks to which we will invite all candidates - both those who passed the selection and those who did not pass".
The mentoring program will take place in three groups, where experienced mentors will work with participants to create photo projects on topical issues. The program will culminate in a competition where the final works of the participants will be presented.
The organizers thank all those who applied and look forward to the start of the mentoring program. We wish the mentors and participants inspiration and creative success!
