PhotoArtDoc Festival has summed up the results of the open call for the 2026 education and mentorship program. The call for applications was closed in early January and received a high response from the photographic community.
In total, more than 100 applications were submitted for participation in the educational program. Almost half of them came from authors from Belarus, the rest - from Belarusan photographers living in different European countries, including Poland, Lithuania, Germany and others.
We are glad to see again such a wide interest in the program from authors with different professional backgrounds, working in different contexts and living in different countries. Open call brought together Belarusian photographers from different age groups and with different levels of training, for whom it is important to develop in the field of documentary and project photography.
The festival team would like to thank all those who applied and showed interest in the program. The educational stage of PhotoArtDoc 2026 will start soon. And at the end of March 2026 the next open-call will start - in the open international category.
