EDUCATIONAL
PROGRAM
This part of the festival is an educational block, within which 3 training groups will be formed on a competitive basis. Under the guidance of mentors, the participants of these groups will be immersed for 4 months in a rich creative process of learning and creating photo projects. A series of general online meetings, individual work with mentors, development and realization of their own photo project, as well as lectures and creative with invited experts. All in an online format.
The number of places in the mentor groups is limited.

Who can apply for PhotoArtDoc educational program?
The project is open to all Belarusian authors, regardless of the level of skills and experience in photography, and regardless of the place of residence. The main criterion is the desire to develop in the field of documentary and project photography.
The age of participants is 18+.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
During the course, students will study and explore the possibilities of various mediums and create a coherent visual statement on various topics. They will study the tactics of promoting their projects. They will go through all the stages of working on a personal project: from the idea and search for a visual solution to the presentation of your work at a portfolio revue and subsequent publication, exhibition, etc.
Mentors and themes
Sergei Gudilin - Documentary photography in media, project and multi-genre photography.
Katerina Kuzmicheva - Photo project, visual storytelling and multimedia.
Tatiana Tkacheva - Documentary and post-documentary photography, the stages of working on a personal project.
Important: When completing the application form, you can choose the group you prefer to study in, but we do not guarantee that you will be assigned to this group.
How do I apply?
To apply, please complete the candidate/career questionnaire. Please note that you need to prepare
- motivation letter - up to 1000 characters
- portfolio - up to 30 photos (single photos or 2 photo projects / photo stories).
Technical parameters for the portfolio:
- file size - no more than 1 Mb, jpeg format, for text files - PDF/Word.
- file name - surname_#.jpeg, in Latin alphabet.
- for photo projects - short annotation text, up to 1000 characters
