We invite authors from all over the world to participate in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The theme of the 2026 year \u2013 TRANSFORMATION (nomination \u201cState of Transition\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We live in a state of continuous shift, where uncertainty has become a fundamental condition. Political and social structures are being reassembled; the boundaries between private and public, personal and collective, truth and fake are shifting. Transformation is no longer an episode \u2013 it is the environment in which experience is formed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this dynamic, individuals are forced to constantly adapt. Flexibility becomes a tool for survival, yet it simultaneously calls into question the stability of identity: where is the line between change and loss? What remains when former foundations lose their strength? And who determines which voices become visible?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transformation, transition, change\u2014these are the subjects of observation and research within PhotoArtDoc 2026. This is a study of the \"state of transition,\" where old forms no longer function and new ones have yet to gain clarity.
