The key stage of the selection session for the PhotoArtDoc festival's mentoring program has concluded. Following the pitching session, mentors conducted an in-depth analysis of the participants' portfolios and motivation letters to determine the final group lineups.
The choice was not an easy one: it was important for the program experts to evaluate not only the current level of work but also the development potential of each project within the mentoring program, as well as the authors' readiness for intense visual and conceptual transformation.
Based on the results of this multi-stage selection, groups were formed, which included both authors continuing to work within Belarus and Belarusian photographers living outside the country.
The most intense stage is ahead.
Regular lectures and sessions with mentors, concept breakdown, work on visual storytelling structure, and project preparation for the final presentation.
We congratulate the authors who made it into the groups this year and thank all the participants of the selection for their honest, strong applications and their courage in seeking their visual language.
